As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping end-to-end digital experiences , from early concept through to delivery. You will define the structure, logic and flow behind products and platforms, ensuring they are simple, coherent and meaningful for users.
Working within an embedded client team, you will help design experiences that support global platforms and product storytelling, balancing user needs, business goals and technical constraints with precision and care.
This role is with AKQA, embedded within a client team, and requires onsite collaboration in the client studio three days per week.
This is a 6–9 month fixed-term contract, offered on a hybrid basis.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Lead the design of intuitive, scalable user experiences across web and digital platforms
Translate complex requirements into clear user journeys, flows, information architecture and interaction models
Define and evolve experience frameworks and systems that work consistently across multiple touchpoints
Apply user-centred design principles, grounding decisions in research, insight and data
Plan and conduct user research and usability testing, synthesising findings into actionable design improvements
Collaborate closely with designers, writers, technologists and product teams to bring ideas to life
Prototype and iterate quickly, refining solutions through testing and feedback
Present work with clarity and confidence, articulating the rationale behind decisions
