Job Role
We are looking for a hands-on Financial Accountant to join our General Ledger Accounting team, taking significant ownership of the accounting and financial close activities for our Swiss entity in Geneva, while also supporting accounting activities across our wider EMEA organisation.
This is a broad accounting role suited to someone who enjoys having ownership beyond simply producing numbers. You will manage key elements of the month-end close, maintain strong balance sheet control, support statutory audits, oversee cash and banking activities and work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business.
You'll also have exposure to FP&A, commercial teams and international colleagues, helping the business understand cost movements and ensuring financial information is accurate, timely and well controlled. The environment is international, fast-paced and continuously evolving, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both technical accounting and business partnering.
How You Will Contribute
Take ownership of general ledger accounting and month-end close activities for our Swiss entity, alongside supporting other EMEA entities.
Prepare and review accounting entries including accruals, prepayments, payroll, expenses, accounts payable and other month-end adjustments.
Perform P&L reviews and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating movements and ensuring accounts are accurate and appropriately supported.
