As we continue to expand, we are looking for a CAD Technician to join our HV Overhead Line (OHL) team within the Power Sector.
Reporting to the OHL CAD Team Lead, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality design outputs for a range of transmission and distribution projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive team, contributing to projects across HV Overhead Lines, underground cables, and substations.
Please note: Experience producing Overhead Line (OHL) Wire Clearance Diagrams is essential for this role and will be a key consideration during the selection process.
Key Responsibilities
Produce OHL Wire Clearance Diagrams, Insulator Set & Conductor Sub-system Drawings, Material Lists, and Route Plan Drawings.
Develop detailed drawings, models, and technical documentation for HV transmission and distribution projects.
Update and modify designs in accordance with client standards, specifications, and procedures.
Work closely with engineers and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and innovative design solutions.
Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with CAD standards while meeting project deadlines.
Support knowledge sharing within the team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and "Right First Time" delivery.
About You
We are specifically looking for an experienced CAD Technician with a strong background in producing Overhead Line (OHL) Wire Clearance Diagrams. This is a key requirement for the role, and candidates should be able to demonstrate hands-on experience delivering wire clearance drawings within transmission and distribution projects.
