Is Amazon, Apple or Deloitte a licensed visa sponsor? 10 big UK employers checked
People often search the register for a brand name and find nothing, because the register uses legal entity names. Here is what the 21 October 2026 register shows for ten well-known employers.

Why brand searches fail
- The register lists the company that holds the licence (e.g. J Sainsbury Plc, not "Sainsbury's"; PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, not "PwC").
- Large groups can hold licences under several entities (e.g. KPMG LLP and KPMG LLP (Local Hires)).
- Some brands we searched for, such as "Google UK" and "Meta Platforms", did not match an entry under those exact names on 21 October 2026. That alone doesn't tell you whether a related legal entity is listed. Look up the company's legal name on Companies House and search for that.
A licence means an employer can sponsor. It does not mean a particular role is sponsored.
