BakerHicks continues to support some of the UK's most complex and high-profile energy infrastructure projects. As our High Voltage team continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Revit Technician to join our multidisciplinary engineering team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Revit professional to play a key role in the delivery of major High Voltage and Transmission & Distribution projects, supporting the UK's transition to a more sustainable energy future.
Reporting into the High Voltage CAD and Design team, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and maintaining high-quality 3D models and engineering drawings, ensuring projects are delivered in line with BakerHicks and client BIM standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain coordinated 3D Revit models for High Voltage engineering projects.
Produce high-quality 2D drawings and documentation derived from Revit models.
Support engineers and designers in developing engineering layouts and design information.
Coordinate Revit models and design information across multiple engineering disciplines.
Identify and assist in resolving model and drawing coordination issues.
Produce and maintain drawings using AutoCAD where required.
Work in accordance with BakerHicks CAD, BIM and document control standards.
Follow project-specific CAD/BIM standards and client requirements.
Support the implementation of BIM and digital delivery processes within the High Voltage team.
Maintain accurate model and drawing information throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in model reviews, design coordination meetings and project reviews where required.
Work collaboratively with CAD Technicians, Engineers, Designers and Project Managers across multidisciplinary teams.
Contribute to the continued development of Revit capability, standards and best practice within the High Voltage CAD team.
